The Southern Railways Group arranges for speakers to give talks and presentations at many of the face to face meeting it organises. The Southern Railways group is continuing to offer on-line talks by guest speakers

SRG Open Day on the 7th March 2026 at 12:00
The SRG are holding an Open Day in West Byfleet on the 7th March 2026 at 12:00. The Cornerstone Centre (next to the Parish Church of Saint John the Baptist) is less than 10 minutes walk from West Byfleet station:
Cornerstone Centre, Camphill Road, West Byfleet. KT14 6EH.
Entrance is free (donations are welcome). You do not need to be an SRG member to attend our open day.
The programme will include:
- A presentation on 'The LBSCR Terrier Tanks of the LBSCR' by John Scott Morgan
- Select plans and datasheets from the SRG Plans and datasheets service will be available for browsing.
- A selection of items from the SRG sales stand will also be available to purchase. Cash only please.
- Tea, Coffee and a light buffet will also be available.
